so how do I report spam or just nasty behaviour?

I got a private message from a "Don Johnson" probably a spam bot, which sent a message containing a few links and an attached picture of a naked man with a huge cock... not nice.
here's a copy of the message with the subject header at the top. I sabataged the links so they don't lead where they intend to direct the user. I added a "1" , it's for our protection. The attached image was also sabotaged so no-one will see it here. I'm just posting it here for proof that I'm not making this up, in case this Don Johnson is normally a reputable user here.
It would be nice to be easily report abuse with private messages or forum posts that are spam.

Hmm... I haven't received any yet. Maybe in the next few minutes or so.

I did a background check on Don Johnson's account. Seems like he's only been online for a total of 2 hours, no posts, no created topics, nothing.

I replied some nasty stuff to him and I got the message again. Seems he has some automated reply.

Screw this guy!
Maybe someone at admin can remove his login asap?

For now I blocked my personal messaging. Suggest u do the same.

Sent a PM to askrieger, reporting the situation. Hopefully, if he is online, he will take action.

He'll look into it. Problem is he probably couldn't ASAP. He's out of town AFAIK. But he did promise to check in once in a while.

Add me to the list of complainers. This is the first linux forum where I have received spam. All personal messages in other forums were requests for help or helpful info about one of my posts.

There should be some sort of message filter to keep out messages from slime likr DON JOHNSON.

I also received the 'Don Johnson' message. In addition to the PM at the Forums, the system also sent it to my E-Mail address. Any way to block his user name? Prevent it from accessing my PM inbox? Hunt this ******* down and shove his #### through an industrial paper shredder?

I also sent a 'cease & desist' PM to 'Don Johnson' on the Forums. Note: I did not hit 'Reply'. I sent a separate PM to the username. I got the objectionable message again!

I got the message and I can't seem to get rid of it. I deleted it, but when I sent a pm to askkrieger it came back. The interesting thing is that when I looked at the message, it indicated that Don Johnson was online.

I'd assume it's a bot sending the message to all online users at regular intervals.
