Per-thread RSS notification

Hi all,

This forum is great, but it's hard to follow all threads except using RSS. Unfortunately, all posts are notified which decrease significantly the signal to noise ratio of the RSS

Would it be possible to have only new threads in the RSS, so that user can subscribe to those they want to follow, and simply ignore replies ?

Don't know about thread specific rss feeds in smf (would be a nice addition, though).

One way to decrease rss noise is to limit your feed to specific sub-forums (if you want to focus on some areas), is to add ';board=X,X,X' to your rss url, like:

http://www.kubuntuforums.net/forums/...;boards=24,109
(This will feed posts from only two sub-forums, in this case 'kubuntu announcements' and 'Karmic Koala 9.10'...the board number can be seen in the url of the sub-forums)
