Would it be possible to change the format of a post when someone uses

The Code quote tags to quote code,

as it tends to stretttccchhh the page from here to Adelaide because it doesn't wrap the text.

It works perfectly well with the quote tags, though.

Actually, neither does the Quote tag. The problem is the output that either tag is surrounding. Both tags surround the "longest" line. One must 'break' these long lines (hard return) to make them shorter.
