Re: "Spew Your Political Rant Here (and nowhere else!)"

Starting a new section is entirely up to OpenSource, but I'm personally not enthusiastic. I'd use the social/casual talk section. If a lot of people got involved in political conversations, then a political rant section would be worth considering.

But please don't get a political discussion going HERE!

If I understand correctly if I want to talk about politics I just start a thread in community caffe and it will not be deleted.
It's good to know, because as I said before I'm a student of political science and sometimes I can't stop myself from using political ideas or such in some topics even though I am containing myself quite well on this forum.

This part of the post was not paid by Slovenian tourist board
All that are interested about travelling to Slovenia and Ljubljana, I must say that Ljubljana is looking really nice in this time of year. And after you do all the sight seeing of Ljubljana (1 day) be sure to explore other parts of Slovenia also.
I personally recommend: Bled and Bohinj with a trip to Julian Alps, Postojna Cave, Kras (karst) region especially Štanjel, ...., and I also recommend Velenje with visti of their coal mine and seeing the biggest statue of Tito (who was a for-life president of Yugoslavia)

EDIT: I opened topic just for politics and such: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3095693.0
I'm magnet for errors, problems and bugs...

Wow -- that sounds very nice, indeed!

Now, tell me about the wine there. (Fintan wants to know, too).

Well wine is almost Slovenian national drink so there is a lot of it, but it varies from region to region.
But as far as my wine knowledge goes we are more red wine country then white wine...
Unfortunately I'm one of few Slovenians that dosen't drink wine, so I can't tell you about it much.
I just know that wine that my grandpa makes ("cviček") is very sour, but it has to this way...
The name "cviček" is from German sentence: "Es zwickt". There is a movement to get civček as an regional speciality and a trademark under "protection" of EU... Not sure for any other Slovenian wine.
I know that merlot is supposed to go great with "prosciutto" (pršut) it's a dried ham...
And that's all I know... Sorry
