SOLVED: how to mark Threads Solved and/or thank users

Is there a way to do the above in the new forum software?

... in response to a specific post/poster, just say "Thanks <poster's_name>"?

I could be having a brain fart and mixing things up with a completely different forum but I could have sworn that on the old forum you could click a user to "thank" them which would be listed against their account. Also threads could be marked as "Solved" - hence could be filtered out.

Thanks Mike! Interesting discussion, I take it not implemented at this stage.

I presume then we just mark threads solved by editing the subject?

Hi, blackpaw. Yes, you edit the subject.

Welcome to the forum (though, you do have 10 posts thus far, but that's still new)
