    Web-Based Seeding.

    Information Link

I think adding web based seeding to your torrent dowloads would help out the initial downloaders, and help distribute the missing pieces when the torrent is older and has fewer seeds.

I will look into it. I have about 1 TB bandwidth per month, so we will see how it goes bandwidth wise.

I think it read that it will only use the web seed if the client cannot find a complete copy (no other seeds) in the pool. That's why I said it would be good for starting downloaders, and people downloading later (such as people d/ling breezy in May '06, when the number of seeds is sure to go down)

      Here it is:
Current behavior is: Request the rarest piece you're missing
in entirety that you can locate.
If you have no pieces that
aren't partially downloaded, skip one retry cycle, then start
requesting partials. If you receive a 503 response, set the
retry time equal to the integer value received in the response.
