Again today for about 3 hours, slow.
Twice I got:

That's a very specific and LONG error. That actually seems to be related to the site itself this time, though I guess the slow responses people are experiencing could have not sent the complete DB query to the system.

just curious, not a complaint, per se ...

For the past week or two, the site is responding slowly
as I click on its links; for example, clicking on Forums may take 10-20 seconds
to get me there; or reload; or Recent Posts; or to post by clicking Post.
I get "waiting for kubuntu forums to respond..."
Two days ago, I was unable to even get in here
(using my Firefox bookmark--it just kept trying to load, "waiting for kubuntu forums....").

Yes, that's the same issue though through my experience with the problem it seems tied also to which Net branch a user is on.
That is I may Experience that issue while others do not. Then sometimes it's reversed. The some other users may experience
it while I don't. It still seems to all come down to the Server and how it responds to each different network segment.

I performed some database maintenance to see if that improves the response time at all. It's quite possible that our community is growing too large for the server we are on. I will check out our server utilization and see how we can improve this.

hmmm ... very strange ...
been trying all day to get in, but can't again;
since 5 am, and it is now past 3 pm;
not sure it's working yet, but I'll see here soon!

Well, yesterday I had some serious problems with the forum, I couldn't log in or post a new topic because it took so long to display anything on screen. After a few hours everything was working as expected, as usual... That was weird... I tried logging into several other sites and fora and there was no problem with the login and the posting processess, they were working fine.
