I haven't been able to transfer the contents of my Kubuntu KOrganizer's calendar to another installation of Kubuntu (different partition). I've read much of KDE's instructions (KOrganizer Handbook) https://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepi...ging-data.html and still can't figure out how to do it. I've tried copying the contents of $KDEHOME/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics. That didn't work. Then I tried exporting Kub's KOrg.'s contents as an iCalendar, then importing it; that didn't work. It says Akonadi [button] Provides access to calendars stored in Akonadi calendar folders. But I don't see an Akonadi button.
I'm not using any separate server, I don't know what the resources are that the Handbook is talking about, I just have calendar entries that I want to move. How do I do that? I have not set up Kmail or the Kaddress book or anything else yet; no complexities. All I want to do is transfer my calendar contents to another Kubuntu.
