    Mint homepage on Kubuntu

Hi world! Very, very cool to be here.

I moved from Windows 8 (conception) to Kubuntu recently, and inbetween i had tried a few various other distros (top 13). Thing is i more or less got a Mint homepage everytime i plugged into Goggle. I haven't used Mint for two years.

    Confused. Yes. Yes i am.

Anyone got advice on this..? I just get rid of the offending page and install my own, but why does Mint have this going on? Anyone else have the same fun? I'm not even signed in at this point.

Not problematic, not dissing or cussing out, just wanna' chat about it..

Hey! Great to meet ya by the way.

BTW, are you very young, and so have used win 8 since the womb? I googled "windows 8 conception" and found stuff relating to fertility, and catholic feasts.
why does Mint have this going on?
Not sure about Mint, but Google pays Mozilla and maybe Canonical to have Google as the default home page.

              Ahh..

I'm not signed in to anything at that time.. Nothing is synced. It just comes up as the very first page on Google when i access it. A home page if you will, Mint button for google et al. Can there be some sort of partition saved from Mint on my drive, even though i have wiped it..

Yes, i am this new to it all.

              Cheers!
