one more question (i feel silly about this one)...
how do i change the password for the kdewallet?
in the launch box on Search & launch i type kdewalletmanager then click the wallet. but then i have to create a new wallet or something. but there are several wallets for chrome, network, etc,,, i'm confused here...
i want to change the password in the main wallet that it keeps asking me to give the password for...“The door to the cabinet is to be opened using a minimum of 15 Kleenexes.” ~Howard Hughes

I use only one wallet for everything, so my KDE Wallet Manager contains just:
Regardless of how many wallets you have, the procedure to change the password on one is the same:
1. Right-click the wallet
2. Choose Change password
3. Enter and re-enter the new password
My wallet has no password, because the prompt just annoys me no end. If you wish to password-free, just hit Enter in step 3 -- that is, leave both fields empty.
