How can I install by CD (not DVD)?

I'm trying to install Kubuntu after a while (3 years) without Linux. I generally know what I'm doing, but am running into a problem: every installer requires either a DVD or a USB stick, neither of which I can provide. I only have a CD burner, not a DVD burner, so the ISO is too large. I tried wubi and it gave boot errors I couldn't find a way around, so I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas for a kubuntu install I can fit onto a CD instead of a DVD?

    Go to http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/re...12.04/release/

The LiveCD .iso files will burn to a standard CD if you use 'overburn'.

Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Ah, I was downloading 12.10 and I had to download 12.04 for a CD-sized imaged. I dug through it a bit more after reading your reply and found what would work. Thank you.

A thumb driver or a camera card can save you on CD's.
