    burning toast files on linux

I could not find this info anywhere on the net so I'm posting my success for the next person that's looking.
I took a .toast file today and burned it using K3b using the "image type:" drop down box on the burn image screen and selecting "plain data image".
I don't know if this is always works, but it did for the .toast file I needed to use. Just passing the love!

"The TOAST file type is primarily associated with 'Toast' by Sonic Solutions. Toast 6 runs on Mac OS X only. This is basically an .ISO file."

"simply renaming the file from .TOAST to .ISO should allow it to be opened by any utility that handles ISO files (most do)."

Did you try renaming the .toast file to .iso and then burning it with K3b?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
