limewire

I have downloaded limewire.rpm, converted and installed it using alien. It appears under menu->internet, but when I try and run it I get the timer for a while and then it just disappears and Limewire fails to start. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

Use frostwire its better and there is a deb for ubuntu. http://www.frostwire.com/

Not to mention frostwire is limewire but wholly free......you'lll never get the buy now or bu later popup.....its basially just a free limwire. My own limewire somewhow get mucked up, but my frostwrie didnt..........as far as i know its the same exact code, sans promotional gimicks....
