sound is gone! and I mean gone!!

Yesterday everything worked fine with my computer. Until something strange happened.

I may have updated some packages but Im not sure. But my sound does not work any more!

I also have Win XP om my machine. And in Win XP the sound works. I have tried everything. The volume in XMMS, KDE volume, etc etc. Now Im really pissed off. Does anyone know if someting has changed in some packages or a bug or something that disables the sound??

Write alsamixer in terminal and look or not muited first two chanels (if muited unmuit with M).
And pick up volume second chanel 100.
First chanel about 50-60.
