Strange issue with AC adapter

Hello everyone,

I have a very strange issue here. When booting Kubuntu 6.10 on my notebook when the AC adapter is plugged in it boots very slow, takes around 5 minutes to boot, however when I am booting and I unplug my AC adapter it only takes about 1 minute to boot, what could be causing this issue?

Thanks, I have gone ahead and reported it, hopefully it will be fixed in the next Kubuntu release.
