    Messed up my screen

    Hey

I was recently trying to add a second display to my laptop through System Settings-> Display. It seems to have applied the settings for the new monitor to my internal screen, so now my internal screen is 640x480 when it should be 1280x800. I went back into the Display preferences, and there doesn't seem to be a way to set "no second monitor" under the hardware tab. It's almost impossible to work like this, and I really don't want to go back to Windows until I can fix this, so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Re: Messed up my screen

    Have you tried:

    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
It makes new xorg.conf (+backups old).

    Before you edit, BACKUP !
