Turn off updates for Firefox 89 ?

How can I turn off the updates for Firefox 89?
They have removed the options in their "Preferences"

Your system updates FF, so as me mentioned previously you would want to 'pin' it to hold it at the current version, ,using Synaptic or Muon. FF does not update itself in Linux
Such an update should not remove your customization. Well, not until they do another major overhaul that breaks the css layout lol.
I'd rather keep the security fixes and take the chance on losing the settings some time down the road.

Is there an explanation of how to "pin it" somewhere that I could read?
I'm just not too good on this type of thing...but certainly willing to learn.

I found Firefox in Muon and right clicked on it and selected "Lock Package". It now shows it with a tiny padlock in it's line. If I right click on it now it gives me the option to "Unlock Package".
Did I do this right?
