Android file manager that understands case?

    Thanks, guys. Your input is helpful and appreciated.

    Prior to getting sick, I never used Android file managers for much of anything. Some local [device] file management, but not much else. Back then, I used my cameras for real photography, and did everything on computers, from e-mail to image editing. My Android devices were just for fun.

    Now I use my phone all day--I just treated myself to a new phone last week because of it. I thought, given how I'm currently using my phone, a 6.5" screen [and it's all-screen] would be much nicer than the 5.5" I had. I never could've imagined being glued to a phone all day, but life happens. *shrug*

    Samba...I don't think I ever would've even thought about that as being the culprit. I haven't edited a samba configuration file in ages. But this discussion has definitely piqued my curiosity, and I'm going to explore this more.
