Kubuntu 20.04 and Bleachbit Error

I would get the following error msg:

(bleachbit:14511): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 21:34:43.955: gdk_screen_get_root_window: assertion 'GDK_IS_SCREEN (screen)' failed

and searching online didn't present any answers (at least not ones that I could definitively say were answers to this problem). Now this is the same error that I would get when trying to run su(do) via the terminal to launch bleachbit in GUI. Which had prompted me to script everything. Now I am getting the same error just running the script via cli. I don't know if it's a function of the recent updates to 20.04 or if something else. Since 20.04 is still beta, I can't rule out that either.

Thoughts?
