I don't know if things are different now, but a few years ago, the Ubuntu wiki pages were under attack. As a consequence, editing pages was restricted to a certain group of trusted people.

So this month I deleted my G+ and my Facebook account. Times, they are a-changin'.

I think google deleted your G+ account for you I got rid of my Facebook stuff at the beginning of last year, was a good decision. Just a waste of time looking at that site.
