Setting up a printer on a second router

HI! I have a question about setting up a printer.

Allow me to explain, I have two routers, the first is my Primary ISP provided router and the second is an OpenWRT router. The Openwrt router is connected to the First router. I have my Canon Pixma printer setup on the first router. If i connect to router 1 i can print, but if i connect to the second router i can't, despite the fact that i can ping the printer. The IP range on router 1 is 192.168.1.1/24 the second id 192.168.2.1/24. Does this make sense?

If anyone could help me out I'd be really grateful.

OK i rebooted both routers and it's working now. I'd love to know why the WPS button on the OpenWRT (Actually a TP-Link Archer C7 V5)
