I just saw that Ubuntu 24.04 is scheduled to include Gnome 46 as a DE. Hmm. Is there any talk about including KDE Plasma? Why not?

That's probably due to the fact that Ubuntu ships with GNOME (and that all the different "Flavours" are not as interesting for the press releases).
Kubuntu will ship with KDE Plasma for sure
- possibly already with Plasma 6…
