Recoll is wonderful

After reading positive opinions about recoll by vinnywright and Snowhog, I installed it.

It's just great and I like the spreadsheet view of results and the snippets feature the best.

Of course, I've disabled searching in some folders such as ~/.mozilla and ~/.config/google-chrome and some files such as en-US.dic.

yes you do want to stop the indexing on the first run and exclude all areas you have no knead for it to search and set it to only append to index from then on .

once the initial indexing is done , you will never notice it again , unlike some other indexers we will not name
