Hello! First post. And also a bit of a Linux newbie.
Is it possible to use an ALSA driver that's available for my audio card (HT-OMEGA eClaro) in Kubuntu? The card isn't recognized in kubuntu normally, but I saw that its possible to install a driver for it using this, but I can't figure it out how to download stuff from Git or what it wants me to do.
And after a bit of researching around, I've heard that I shouldn't try to get rid of PulseAudio, and that Alsa is apparently already installed, and now I'm just confused.
Is there anything I can do to get this card working, or install this driver?
Thank you!
