I now like Adept

I disliked Adept when I first used it but I have just discovered that it was impatient me who was to blame.

It would appear as if it had hung and I would reboot but I discovered it would still be running in the background though showing a greyed screen.

This time around I let it be and soon found out it completed my dist-upgrade with no errors.

yeah Adept is nice.... but apt-get is even better ether way they are both better then how windows does it

I think Smart PM uses it's own system. But it can be made to work with both RPM and DEB.

Adept is actually good. It's very powerful. The only problem right now is that the new/regular user could not take full advantage of that power, because of Adept's shortcomings. In time, though, it will grow... hopefully... soon...

Here's to hoping Adept becomes really adept!
