    dropping windoze

I'm ready to delete windoze I have a few options.
I now have my swap disk in a ntfs partition as a logical drive.
    heres my options
    1. leave swap as is
    2. create a new swap in ext3 primary
I'm not sure if I'll be able to start a new swap with out messing up Kubuntu, active partition.
    Thanks Scott

    Re: dropping windoze

If you have your swap partition formatted as ntfs, either you don't have a swap partition, or you don't have an ntfs partition any more. Linux won't write to ntfs out of the box. Obviously, you can take your deleted windoze partition and make some fraction of it into a real swap partition. Also you can use the konsole command mkswap to make the thing that you now think is your swap partition into a swap partition. Run "man mkswap" from a konsole or in konq.
