[SOLVED] LibreOffice Calc -- more help needed!

I know how to 'freeze' things to make a row/rows stationary at the top of the spreadsheet, so you can scroll the spreadsheet up and down without losing sight of the 'frozen' row(s). But is there a way to freeze it SIDEWAYS? I want to be able to scroll left/right without losing sight of several COLUMNS on the left.

    Thanks!

It looks similar for both types

Select the column to the right of where you want it frozen. No clue as to how this would affect a complex sheet, though.

What claydoh said. The trick can be, turn off the existing freeze first.

Thanks! I should've searched for the info myself, but I'm glad you did it for me.

        This was the missing link:

"To freeze both horizontally and vertically, select the cell that is below the row and to the right of the column that you want to freeze."
