    Bumblebee

Is it ever possible to install bumblebee on anything? No matter how many different distros I try, and no matter how many guides I follow, it never works.

What's your video chips configuration? I.E., can you activate your secondary Nvidia chip from your BIOS? If you can BumbleBee isn't for that config.

So so it has an Optimus GPU. IF it doesn't Bumblebee won't work.
Here is some recent discussions and solutions:

Yes, it's an Nvidia gpu, and Optimus works beautifully in Windows.

Managed to 'install' it (glxinfo and the testing utilities such as glxspheres64 all work great with bumblebee), but it won't actually run any games.

When I ran bumblebee it worked on some apps but not others. Have tried the tips in this guide?:
