    Notice to SRWare Iron users; Update to version 39.0.2100.0 is available.

    One downside to using software outside the repos is you may not get update notifications. If you are a user of SRWare's Iron browser, click here for the latest version: Version 39.0.2100.0

    For some reason, the link on their home page takes you to the older 37... version.

    Pepperflashplugin-nonfree also updated today (or maybe yesterday). I'm seeing a problem with it on this new SRWare Iron version -- the flash window comes up but then promptly crashes. Anyone else?

    EDIT: cnn.com and some other websites do show video, but nothing on youtube.com works.

      @here: works. Launch command:

      /usr/share/iron/iron --disk-cache-dir="/tmp/chromium" --ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/pepflashplugin-installer/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=16.0.0.305

      Odd thing for me is Hangouts extension crashes. I noticed just a few minutes ago, they post Iron 40... for Windows so hang on - update for us not far behind I suspect. Browsing the SRWare forums looks like 39 was a rough version, bug-wise. You could always go back to 37 and wait it out.

        Correction Don - I see it crashing now. Sitting on Speedtest, it looked fine. Trying to run animation it crashed.

        Speedtest worked all the way through but Snowhog's desktop recording crashes it and hangout crashes - both extension and webpage.

          Right. I moved the libpepflashplayer.so file into the iron directory, so my launch command is

          /usr/share/iron/iron --disk-cache-dir=/run/user/1000/chromium-cache --ppapi-flash-path=/usr/share/iron/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=16.0.0.305 %U
