    virtualbox related question

Dual boot windows 7 and Kubuntu 14.04
Win7 on a 1Tb drive, Kubuntu on another 1Tb drive. All data on a 3 Tb drive formatted NTFS. I can mount and read the ntfs drives without a problem. What I would like to do is this:s
share virtualbox vm between the 2 OS's. I can resize and create another partition in fat32 if needed. If I can do this without resizing and partitioning, it would just be easier. Any ideas out there?

Because both operating systems can manipulate the 3 TB NTFS drive, place the VirtualBox VM there. You don't need a separate partition.

Ok. Got the vms working in both OS's. Now I just need to change the config, if possible, to allow me to see a machine added in win7 when I boot to Kubuntu and vice-versa. Some say this can't done, but I don't believe that
