    Error 503 : Service Temporarily Unavailable‏

I get the Title using my Kubuntu OS. It all started with some strange page that said I was doing something wrong or sending the wrong page. From then on I get the above Error.

Strangely I can log in using my Windows OS.

I cleared out all cache and temp files. I have a Xubuntu OS, will try that next.

    Any help would be nice

    Thanks.

If you trigger too many 403 errors, zbblock will lock you out for a time period (default being 24 hours, IIRC)...during that time you'll only get 503.

Notice that every connection attempt during the lock out will reset the time period (extending the lock out another 24 hours)

If you make no connection attempts in 24+ hours, you'll be allowed back in (an admin can also clear the block for you)

I realize that. My question is why it all started in the first place. This is the only site that this occured. It all started with the "403 FORBIDDEN" message, and I have never abused any of the forums.

ROG had the same 403 message a few months back, and it was resolved.

It's a spam blocking/security software used on the site. Something innocuous triggered the security system

I can't access kfn from my laptop, likey my ip triggered some action. Apparently I am a bad hacker dude

"Administrators" have to whitelist the IP on the PC they are using to access the Forum. If you change PCs and/or access the Forum from your PC but through a service (VPN) that changes the IP you had whitelisted, and the newly assigned IP or hosting service for the VPN is registered on StopForumSpam or within ZB Block, you can be blocked.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

            Thanks Snowhog, I'm back!

Claydoh that "Something innocuous triggered the security system" is what I now will be aware of.

The 403 warning was the first indication, but I can't recall what I did it trigger it. Either browsing or trying to answer a forum. Nothing more.
