    Kubuntu No Sound

    I have Kubuntu as my main OS. I'm not really sure what happened but my sound does not work anymore. What should I check on my system? Info about my system below.

    Hit F5 to bring all the sliders (or most of them) into view. See if some critical ones are below 10% or disabled. Use the "M" key to enable disabled ones.

        MM means muted,,,,,,,,,you do not need sudo with alsamixer ,,,,,,,and you seem to have 2 sound cards ,,,,F6 in alsamixer will let you pick the one it's using ,,,,,,or right click the speeker icon>click audio setup>click on the "audio hardware setup tab and play with the options wile playing something until you hear sound.
