Encrypt Files between Kubuntu & Windows Users

Can anybody recommend a program that I can use to send encrypted files to my friend who is on Windows? I've ready about several excellent programs that can encrpt files between linux users, but not the Windows world.

And as wrong as it sounds, the dumber the better for the windows aspect. He's not very computer saavy.

I have no personal experience with this, but AES Crypt appears to satisfy your requirements.
