Kubuntu 12.04: Trouble Making A Live CD

Hi;

I downloaded Kubuntu 12.04, burned it to a CD with K3B as a data cd, went into my bios, set the computer to boot off the DVD drive..........and nothing happened. Is there a setting I need to do in K3B to make a CD into a live CD?

It is quite common for newbies to just copy the ISO to a CD. (Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.)

You need to "burn the ISO"..That is a special operation to make a Linux bootable disk.
