I've been noticing lately how old fashioned the KDE package managers look. I'm not talking about functionality as synaptic has always worked fine for me.
I'm comparing it to the Ubuntu software center or maybe an android market. They are miles ahead in eye candy. And I think eye candy is important in a package manager.
