Konqueror supports Flash Oneric 27 nov 2011

    Woah!

The TrinityProject, keeping KDE 3.5 alive had an interesting item on its home page:

    Flash no longer segfaults Konqueror

Hmmmm that got me to thinking, which is NOT a good thing!

I mainly use Konqueror when I need to do stuff "in root" and not as a browser because it just had problems with Flash video and I do a lot with Flash video stuff in my presentations for the school.

But, I opened Konqueror and got the same notification popup that I had seen before, but ignored,:

"Extra packages can be installed...yada yada yada.."

So this time I clicked the popup and what to my wondering eyes did appear?

A nice little box and just one word: flash.

It installed and I went to YouTube to watch a HALO reach video! I KNOW.... Microshaft but it has great music!

So...for those who had been ignoring Konqueror because of Flash, the situation is resolved!

And for those who do not like or need flash, don't install it!
