Upgrade to 11.10

I am having a problem getting upgraded to the 11.10 RC. I am currently running Beta 2. I have been letting the software run updates to the various programs as it detected them, instead of running the updates from the command prompt. I checked this morning and there where about 30 or so additional updates, but the notifier is not prompting me to do a distro upgrade.

I have checked my sources list, and everything looks fine. From what I have read, I am pretty sure I have not been updated. I read that I should be on Kernel 3.0.4 but I am still on 3.0.0.12. Unless Kubuntu is not using the .4 kernel, but I am not 100% sure that it should be.

Any thoughts on what I need to do to kick off the upgrade?

My kde upgrade kernal is 3.0.0.12 as well, I also have Xubuntu running on a netbook but with a fresh install and that's the same, it must be the kernal cannonical went with, and if I type uname -a at a prompt they're both dated Fri 7 Oct.
