I recently upgraded my GPU from an old 6600 and immediately started to have slow response on the mouse and keyboard. I have tried numerous changes in the Xorg.conf but nothing seems to work. I using Kubuntu 11.04. This could be an issue with Xserver, but I could not find a solution anywhere .
I re-installed the Nvidia drivers using the latest release 285.
I've checked the Xorg.0.log to ensure the latest drivers were loading and they are. The desktop comes up fine and it does not seem unresponsive. Just the mouse and keyboard are slow to a point that is almost useless. And I am not using " slow key" option under accessibility.
If someone has any idea on how to get this working fine again. I upgraded from a 6600 256MB GPU to a Galaxy Geforce 210 1024MB.
