    creating shortcuts to another drive

    Hi guys

I have a dual boot, vista and kubuntu 11.04. i have my users set up, and i am looking to create a shortcut on the kubuntu desktop to point to their "My Documents" folder on the vista partition. i right click -> create new... -> Basic link to file or directory -> then browse to /mount/OS/Documents and Settings/USER to create the link. the folder works until restart. it appears that the drive isnt mounted until i access it from dolphin. how do i make this automatic?

    thanks!

you nead to add the vista partition to /etc/fstab so it is mounted at start.

    post the output of
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    and or
    Code:
    sudo blkid
