I'm using Kubuntu 11.04. I want to add simplified chinese.
So far I've used system settings>system languages to install it and chosen english (united states) as the default system language and scim as the keyboard input method. Under country/region/language chinese is second on the list of preferred languages (american english is first).
I've then opened a new libreoffice writer document to see if I can input chinese. I've run scim setup, but under global setup it only shows English/European and raw code. I am not able to switch to chinese.
I appreciate any help with this.
