    KDE 4.6.1

    Hi

I'm aware that according to the release schedule KDE 4.6.1 should have been out yesterday. Even the kde website appears to be totally silent about it - does anyone know what has happened?

    Re: KDE 4.6.1

I lurked a bit on the KDE email lists earlier today, it seems like they are close to release, but there were some issues with the packaging ... I didn't see any ETA for the actual release, though ...

If all lights are green, we'll publish tomorrow night, CET. (Sorry for my
silence these days, it's "really close to goldmaster" time right now, and
every minute is about 13 times as important right now.

        Re: KDE 4.6.1

Many thanks - it wasn't a big deal but my experience has been that the KDE team have tended to release on time.

        I'm glad there isn't a big problem

In case anyone ends up here, KDE 4.6.1 has been released and it is available for Kubuntu (instructions in www.kubuntu.org)
