Another virtualbox question

Hi,
I have installed Windows xp in virtualbox in hopes of running my power dvd software. I have a blue ray player on my computer and would like to use it in linux. If I try to install the software in xp virtualbox the install stops because it can't find the LG BDRom drive. It only sees the vboxcdrom listed in the hardware manager. Is there any way to fix this? I tried to enable pass through but that didn't help.

I may be mistaken but I think the pass-though setting is still in experimental state. I could be wrong as I never have used it before. Have you checked the VirtualBox Forums?
