[solved] how to restrict widget to display on only one of desktop?

    subject line says it all.

i have a clock, weather, system information, notes widgets placed on my desktop.
and it eclipses the beautiful wallpaper behind.
is it possible to restrict widget to single desktop?

In System Settings>Window behavior>Virtual Desktops check off 'Different widgets for each desktop'
