Does multitouch work on Kubuntu 10.10 ? have a Asus Eee PC 900HD.

I have the HP TouchSmart txt2 and no it does not work at all with it. I checked to see that Utouch was enabled and it is, i also tried netbook desktop too, just never would work no matter what.
Maybe the live CD would let you test....i read that maybe Ubuntu Netbook edition may work, but i never tried.
