[Solved) Getting the message "Sketchup is unable to initialize OpenGL"

I'm not sure exactly where to post this at but I hope this helps someone.

(First make sure you have installed WINE)

After installing Google Sketchup 7 on my Kubuntu 10.04 system I attempted to run it however it kept bringing up the following error message:

"Sketchup is unable to initialize OpenGL"...........

I found this fix at the following website:

Hope this helps anyone having the same problem I was having.

In short it says to do the following:

alt+f2
type regedit and select it
go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\SketchUp7\GLConf ig\Display
right click HW_OK
select modify
in value data change the 0 to 1
close everything out
open Google Sketchup
