    Parted Magic

I have several 'utility' LiveCDs, among them, GParted and SystemrescueCD. But it looks like Parted Magic contains "the best" of each (plust a lot more) in a single, multi-purpose LiveCD. As it stands now, I use GParted for my partition management needs, and SystemrescueCD for other needs (fsarchiver for one).

From those who are using, or have used it, what are the positives and the negatives (if any)?

With the performance benchmarks and the SMART GUI for hard drive checkups, it's a very nice package, IMHO. I installed it on a USB stick, the better to keep it handy for those visits to relatives with computer issues. 8)

I've used it a number of times to zero-fill my HDD's. It works a treat and I've never had a problem
