Those who live in the UK will know why he's done it...simples!

references to meerkats are hot in the UK due to the antics of a price comparison website called comparethemarket.com. As part of the marketing they've set up comparethemeerkat.com as well.

      Works well.

That and "Meerkat Manor" which has been hot for some time now...

My daughter has a stuffed-animal meerkat, named Meerabella.

Odd, just went to the Zoo this past weekend with my daughters and that is one of the animals we enjoyed watching the most. Good choice in name.

Looking at the ages of people here, I must be pretty old by human standards here sigh... My first use of a computer language was with Pascal and BSD (from Berkeley University), at the time I was deeply involved in what was to become the computer industry, via a company called Plessey, in which I was working on switchgear for the Gemini Space Rockets (NASA) which was pretty hush-hush at the time, then later I joined International Computers and learned some more... - My first computer was a Commodore 64, and I've been following the system ever since. 8)

                          That meerkat website is halarious.

                          I'm waiting for "Zoomy Zebra"
