    Wubi virus???

I bought a new PC yesterday. I installed Norton's and eventually I tried to install Wubi. The virus checker identified one of the files as a virus and so the software wouldn't install. Anybody know anything about this?

    Re: Wubi virus

I have installed Wubi on a computer with a security program called "Safe And Secure" and it told me there was a virus too, i just disabled the program, installed Wubi, and everything was perfectally fine.

I'm sure this has nothing at all to do with the fact that those who run Linux have no need for Norton

        Probably a false positive.

Send the detected file off to symantec so they can confirm and remove it from the database.
