Lost Icons

I put icons for various applications onto the desktop. While trying to change the icon titles
and the icons themselves, I managed to lose the icons and their applications in the launcher.

In one app I've even managed to lose the ability to change anything about the icon.

How do I get at least the applications back into the K launcher (bottom left in tray) ?

Not really sure what you did, so I can't offer any straight answers, but I'd first check the .desktop files in ~/.local/share/applications/ (this is where the system stores user modified .desktop launchers)

dolphin ~/.local/share/applications/

Try removing the .desktop files for launchers you're having trouble with.
