So he gives up the title of CEO, but sounds like he is going to be more involved in development and marketing than ever.
I can't help but wonder whether this has anything to do with his recently noted tendency to potentially objectionable language. Most likely not. It's probably just me. -

Two thoughts:
(1) This ought to end the blather about Mark Shuttleworth's supposed sexism!
(2) Because this is a promotion from inside the organization, I suspect that there will be no SIGNIFICANT changes in policy or in the quality of the distro in the near future.
